How To Pray For The Sick & See Them Recover is an intense 18-hour training series designed to equip lay teams in the
practical application of healing. The training will be focused on teams of
people called to this ministry through practical experience and guidance
and by sharing examples of what works. The goal of these training seminars
is to teach teams of people from all Christian churches how to minister
the miracle of physical healing in their churches, as Jesus Christ did and
commanded. This is a thoroughly biblically based teaching.

How To Pray For The Sick and See Them Recover is an intense,
7-section, 21-hour training series designed to equip lay teams in the
practical application of healing. The training will be focused on teams of
people called to this ministry through practical experience and guidance
and by sharing examples of what works. The goal of these training seminars
is to teach teams of people from all Christian churches how to minister
the miracle of physical healing in their churches, as Jesus Christ did and
commanded. This is a thoroughly biblically based teaching.
Workshop Itinerary

Section 1: The purpose of miraculous healing. The power of the Holy Spirit to heal, the gifts of the Spirit available for healing the sick and how to work with them.

Section 2: The biblical requirements of those who pray for the sick and those seeking healing. Biblical requirements of those who pray for the sick and biblical requirements of the one who seeks healing.

Section 3: How the sick were healed in the Old Testament. Examples of healings and the principles that can be derived from them as we pray for the sick today.

Section 4: How the sick were healed in the New Testament. Examples of healings and the principles that can be derived from them as we pray for the sick today.

Section 5: Obstacles to healing. The biblically cited causes of sickness, the obstacles to healing and how to work through them.

Section 6: The demonic obstacles to healing. How demons and curses can interfere with healings and how to suspend their effects when praying for the sick. How to recognize when a sick person needs full deliverance. This course does not teach deliverance.

Section 7: Developing a ministry team to pray for the sick. How to minister as a team when praying for the sick and how to address those who don't receive a healing.

Practical training follows each training session. How to interview the sick person, how to pray for a "quick miracle," how to work with the Holy
Spirit and the information he provides to identify and work through the blocks to healing so that healing can come to the sick. Practical nuts and bolts training for effectively ministering to the sick. What works, what doesn't.
